CANCELED: War Crimes Don’t Keep Us Safe: Ben-Gvir Out of NYC

UPDATE 7/5/26: We’ve called off this protest because Ben-Gvir decided to cancel his US visit after our protest (and others) were announced. You can read more in this Haaretz article: Ben-Gvir Once Again Cancels U.S. Visit Amid Calls to Prosecute Far-right Minister.

New Jewish Narrative and partner organizations are organizing a protest in New York City during Itamar Ben-Gvir's visit to the United Nations Headquarters.

Despite convictions of incitement to racism and support for a terror organization, Ben-Gvir will be taking part in a UN conference on policing. But his actions don’t protect Israeli or Palestinian communities, and they certainly don’t help us. Instead, they fuel an endless cycle of bloodshed, trauma, and instability.

We are showing up to say that his violent extremism and the government he represents must be rejected.

Join us on Tuesday, July 7, at 12 PM, at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza (2nd Ave and 47th St) in NYC.

NJN will be joined by American and Israeli partners from Arza, Israelis for Peace NYC, J Street, the New Israel Fund, NYJA, Partners for Progressive Israel, Smol Emuni US, T’ruah, and the Union for Reform Judaism.

If you think you might come, click here to let us know!
